We are looking for a Chief Information Officer (CIO) to lead our global IT organization and shape the company’s technology strategy. In this role, you will drive enterprise-wide transformation, scale AI adoption, and ensure our platforms, systems, and infrastructure support the company's business strategy.

You will act as a strategic partner to executive leadership, own a multi-million-dollar budget, and lead a global team across enterprise applications, infrastructure, data, and IT operations. This is a high-impact role for a leader who combines strong business acumen with deep technological expertise and a passion for driving change.

As a Cognyter you will:

Strategic & Executive Leadership

• Define and execute a multi-year IT strategy aligned with Cognyte’s business priorities, growth objectives, and go-to-market evolution.
• Provide clear executive-level insight, judgment, and recommendations in complex and fast-changing environments.

AI Transformation & Digital Innovation

• Lead enterprise-wide AI adoption and embed intelligent automation across business functions.
• Championing a culture of innovation, accountability, and data-driven decision-making, ensuring measurable business value from AI initiatives.

Enterprise Platforms & Business Transformation

• Drive modernization of core enterprise platforms, including ERP, CRM, and data & analytics ecosystems.
• Partner closely with business leaders to support transformation initiatives such as subscription models, M&A due diligence, and post-merger integration.

Global IT Operations & Governance

• Ensure secure, scalable, and resilient IT operations across global infrastructure and cloud environments.
• Establish and maintain IT governance frameworks, policies, performance metrics, and executive visibility.
• Optimize delivery models, including offshore and managed services.

People & Financial Leadership

• Build, lead, and develop a high-performing global IT organization through coaching, clear accountability, and talent development.
• Manage strategic vendor and technology partner relationships.
• Own and optimize the IT budget, balancing innovation, operational excellence, and cost discipline

Requirements

For that mission you’ll need:

• 15+ years of progressive IT leadership experience, including executive-level roles.
• Proven experience leading global IT organizations across multiple geographies.
• Strong expertise in enterprise platforms (ERP, CRM), cloud infrastructure, and modern workplace technologies.
• Demonstrated experience driving enterprise-scale AI transformation.
• Solid financial acumen, including budgeting, vendor management, and cost optimization.
• Strong communication, influence, and stakeholder-management skills at executive level.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field.
• Excellent communication skills in English.
• People-oriented professional with a strong work ethic and a proactive, can-do attitude.

Advantage:

• Experience in cybersecurity, defense-tech, or enterprise software environments.
• Familiarity with modern AI tools and platforms (e.g., Copilot, AI agents).
• Experience leading large-scale ERP/CRM modernization.
• Background in M&A, post-spin-off, or complex transformation environments.
• Knowledge of IT governance frameworks and industry standards.
