Position: CINEMATIC VIDEO EDITOR – REAL ESTATE & CONSTRUCTION

Salary range: up to Php 88,000 Philippine Peso/month (The final amount will be at the the client discretion basing on the candidate’s skills and experience.)

Working Hours: Monday to Friday following New Zealand business time

Work set-up: 100% Remote work (Independent Contractor Agreement)

Holidays: TBC

About the Company & Role

Our client is a creative media production company specialising in producing professional visual content for businesses within the property, building, and construction sectors. The company provides a range of creative services, including photography, videography, aerial footage, and digital content production, helping businesses showcase their properties, projects, and services through compelling visual presentations. They are looking for a talented and detail-oriented Video Editor who can transform raw footage into polished, cinematic, and engaging video content that captures the quality and appeal of each project. The role involves editing various types of footage, including property walkthroughs, architectural spaces, construction developments, and commercial project showcases, while maintaining a consistent and professional visual style. The successful candidate will be expected to produce approximately 2–3 completed videos daily, balancing creative execution, technical quality, and production efficiency. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced editor who enjoys visual storytelling, understands cinematic editing techniques, and can deliver high-quality content in a fast-paced creative environment.

Key Responsibilities

Video Editing & Post-Production

• Edit raw video footage into professional, engaging, and cinematic video productions.
• Produce approximately 2–3 completed videos per day while maintaining consistent quality and creative standards.
• Create property walkthroughs, real estate promotional videos, architectural showcases, and construction project features.
• Apply professional editing techniques, including sequencing, transitions, pacing, music integration, and visual storytelling.
• Perform colour correction and colour grading to achieve a polished and consistent cinematic look.
• Edit and incorporate drone footage, interior and exterior shots, and other visual assets into cohesive video presentations.
• Adapt editing styles based on project requirements, target audiences, and creative direction.

AI-Assisted Editing & Content Production

• Utilise AI-powered video editing and enhancement tools, particularly Higgsfield, to improve production workflows and creative output.
• Apply AI-assisted effects, enhancements, and visual elements while ensuring the authenticity and quality of the final content.
• Produce videos in different formats and aspect ratios, including landscape and vertical formats for various digital platforms.
• Optimise video content for online marketing and social media distribution.
• Ensure proper audio synchronisation, sound quality, captions, and overall video presentation.

Quality Control & Project Management

• Review all completed videos to ensure accuracy, consistency, and professional production standards before delivery.
• Manage multiple editing assignments and consistently meet daily production targets and deadlines.
• Maintain organised project files, raw footage, editing assets, and completed outputs.
• Implement feedback and revision requests promptly while maintaining attention to detail.
• Identify opportunities to improve editing workflows, turnaround times, and production efficiency.

Creative Collaboration & Brand Consistency

• Maintain consistency with the company's established creative direction and visual standards.
• Contribute creative ideas and recommendations to enhance the quality and impact of video content.
• Adjust editing approaches based on project requirements and client expectations.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure timely delivery and alignment with production objectives.

Qualifications & Requirements

Essential Requirements

• At least 3 years of professional experience in video editing or post-production.
• Advanced proficiency in Final Cut Pro.
• Must have access to a Mac computer capable of running Final Cut Pro.
• Strong understanding of cinematic editing, storytelling, transitions, and video composition.
• Demonstrated experience in colour correction and professional colour grading.
• Proficiency in AI-powered video production tools, particularly Higgsfield.
• Strong understanding of audio synchronisation, sound design, music integration, and visual aesthetics.
• Ability to consistently deliver 2–3 completed videos per day without compromising quality.
• Excellent attention to detail and ability to work independently in a deadline-driven environment.
• Must provide at least three (3) samples of previously produced landscape videos demonstrating editing skills and creative capabilities.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience editing real estate, property marketing, architectural, or construction-related videos.
• Experience incorporating drone footage into professional video productions.
• Knowledge of motion graphics, captions, sound design, and visual effects.
• Familiarity with other AI-assisted video editing and content creation tools.
• Experience working with real estate professionals, property developers, builders, contractors, or commercial clients.
• Understanding of social media video formats and digital content requirements.
