Salary Range: $75,000-90,000

In-Depth Engineering seeks a CI/CD Software Integration Engineer to support our AN/SQQ-89 Undersea Warfare Combat System program supporting our U.S. Navy customer. Engineers are responsible for maintaining and updating a host of CI/CD process systems utilizing a combination of containers and virtual machines in support of a distributed workforce.

This is a permanent, full-time position and the work will be performed on-site in Manassas, Virginia. 

Candidates for consideration must be a US citizen and have or be able to obtain an active Department of Defense secret clearance. 

Duties

  • Creation of new jobs within Jenkins to interact with configuration management tools.
  • Perform software deliveries, extracting the delivery from one configuration management system and submitting it to another.
  • Generate scripts and other convenience jobs to streamline automated software verification.
  • Creation and configuration of virtual machines for use by the software development team.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or related major -OR- 3+ years of practical experience in a similar environment.
  • 2+ years of experience and demonstrable proficiency utilizing commonly available configuration management tools.
  • Strong Linux terminal skills, including navigating file systems and remote servers, and modifying files using text-based tools.

Preferred Qualifications/Skills

  • Experience creating/configuring a CI/CD environment.
  • Familiarity with Jenkins and JUnit.
  • Familiarity with static code analysis tools
  • Previous experience installing/creating virtual machines from ISO images.
