YOUR TASKS

  • Provide cybersecurity operational support by monitoring, investigating, troubleshooting, and resolving security incidents, alerts, and service requests affecting wind farms and OT environments.
  • Support incident response activities, including containment, root cause analysis, remediation, documentation, and coordination with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assess vulnerabilities and cybersecurity risks across OT systems, driving remediation actions, patch management, and risk mitigation initiatives.
  • Act as the primary technical contact for cybersecurity after-sales services, ensuring delivery of contractual support, security assessments, compliance activities, and customer security reviews.
  • Support and maintain the secure operation of SCADA systems, wind turbine control systems, industrial networks, remote access solutions, and IT/OT interfaces.
  • Ensure compliance with cybersecurity policies, industry standards, and frameworks such as IEC 62443, ISO 27001, and NIS2, while supporting audits, assessments, and security documentation.
  • Drive continuous improvement through process optimization, automation, cybersecurity projects, knowledge sharing, training, and the implementation of corrective actions to enhance operational security maturity.

YOUR TEAM IS IMPORTANT BECAUSE

In this role, you will provide Cyber Security Support for Operational Technology (OT) environments, ensuring the security, availability, and compliance of wind turbine and wind farm infrastructures. The position combines hands-on technical support, incident handling, vulnerability management, and continuous improvement of cybersecurity processes within critical renewable energy infrastructure.

YOUR PROFILE

  • Bachelor’s degree in Cyber Security, Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience in cybersecurity and industrial environments.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in cybersecurity operations, incident response, OT security, infrastructure support, or technical escalation environments.
  • Strong knowledge of cybersecurity principles, including security monitoring, incident response, vulnerability management, endpoint protection, network security, firewall administration, identity and access management, and patch management.
  • Experience with Operational Technology (OT) and industrial systems such as SCADA, ICS, PLCs, industrial networks, remote maintenance solutions, and IEC 62443 concepts.
  • Solid understanding of IT infrastructure, including Windows Server, Linux, TCP/IP networking, VPN technologies, Active Directory, and cloud-based security services.
  • Experience working within critical infrastructure, industrial automation, manufacturing, energy, or other highly regulated operational environments is considered an advantage.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and root cause analysis skills, with the ability to effectively prioritize and manage cybersecurity incidents.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, collaboration, and customer service skills, with the ability to work independently in an international environment
  • Proficiency in English — we’re not expecting Shakespeare, but you should feel comfortable speaking in interviews and daily meetings with international colleague
