MANTECH seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Combined Integrated Air and Missile Defense/Anti-Submarine Warfare Trainer (CIAT) Surface Training Advanced Virtual Environment ( STAVE) Net Test and Evaluation Lead to join our team in Dahlgren, VA This is an on-site position.

The CIAT STAVE-Net Test and Evaluation Lead is responsible for planning, coordinating, and executing integrated testing events between geographically separated CIAT sites, leveraging the STAVE-Net. This role will focus on validating the interoperability and performance of the CIAT system when distributed across multiple locations, specifically linking IAMD components at one site with ASW components at NSWC Carderock.

Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Develop & execute comprehensive test plans, procedures, and scripts for CIAT STAVE-Net testing events, clearly defining test objectives, scenarios, and evaluation criteria.
  • Coordinate test planning and execution activities with engineers and stakeholders at both NSWC Dahlgren and NSWC Carderock.
  • Establish and maintain STAVE-Net and configuration required for distributed CIAT testing and troubleshoot (as part of a team) complex technical issues related to network connectivity, system interoperability, and data synchronization between CIAT sites.
  • Ensure the accurate representation of IAMD components at one site (e.g., NSWC Dahlgren) and ASW components at NSWC Carderock.
  • Participate in test readiness reviews, pre-test briefings, and post-test debriefings.
  • Collaborate with system administrators, network engineers, and other technical staff to resolve issues and optimize system performance.
  • Ability to travel 1 week, 3-4 times per year to NSWC Carderock and other CIAT sites.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 8 + years of experience with the AEGIS Combat System as well as interfacing sensors and ship systems.
  • 5+ years general experience in the engineering, design, development, or testing and evaluation of a Navy combat system.
  • 4+ years of recent experience in any of the following: Test requirements definition, Test Plan/Procedures development, maintenance, execution, test data reduction and analysis and Computer program performance analysis and reporting.
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to diagnose and resolve technical issues.
  • Requires 80% on-site presence within a classified environment.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Understanding of CIAT system architecture, infrastructure and network
  • Solid understanding of networking principles, protocols, and troubleshooting techniques.
  • Experience with distributed testing environments and network simulation tools, especially within synthetic training environments.

Clearance Requirements:

  • United States citizen required and an active Secret Clearance

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to remain stationary for 50% of the time.
  • Occasional movement within the office or test lab for communication and accessing resources.
