The integration of multiple complex systems is critical to the successful delivery of the SMR power station. As the programme develops, ensuring that physical, electrical, communications and infrastructure interfaces are effectively coordinated and integrated is fundamental to delivering a safe, operable and high‑performing plant.
As a C&I Physical Integration Lead, you will be responsible for defining, coordinating and assuring the physical integration of constituent systems within a complex System of Systems environment.
You will work closely with system architects, design authorities, engineering teams, suppliers and delivery partners to ensure that physical, electrical, communications, infrastructure and operational interfaces are effectively designed, implemented and verified.
The role spans the full lifecycle from design and integration planning through to testing, commissioning and acceptance, providing technical leadership to ensure that multiple engineering disciplines come together to deliver an integrated and operationally effective solution.

The salary band for this role will be between £60,000 – £78,750 dependent on the skills, values and knowledge you bring. There may be flexibility in exceptional cases, reflecting the technical leadership responsibility of the role.
