Eaton’s IS VEH EMB division is currently seeking a CI Manager.

Eaton announced, on June 11, 2026, the intent to combine its Mobility Group (including both the Vehicle and eMobility segments) with a new company. We expect to complete this process by the end of the first half of 2027. The compensation and benefits that will initially be offered for this position are based on Eaton's plans, programs and practices. If you are offered and accept this position and are actively employed by the Mobility Group when the transaction closes, the new company will provide further details to employees concerning compensation and benefits at that time.

What you’ll do

Primary Function:

Lead the Eaton Continuous Improvement System (ECIS) deployment, training and mentoring at the plant level. Main job duties center on the creation and implementation of Lean tool and Six Sigma strategies and robust problem-solving techniques, which will lead to improvements in factory margins, product delivery performance, employee safety and reductions in product/process variation. This position is also responsible for leading the execution and deployment of robust manufacturing processes and continuous improvement/manufacturing efficiency initiatives across the organization. Provides leadership in executing the organization’s strategic plan.

Essential Functions:

1. Works through the leadership team to lead the development and implementation of the site Eaton Continuous Improvement System strategy, actions, and cross-functional activities.
2. Provides site Lean and Six Sigma training and mentoring.
3. Conducts Self Operational Assessment (OpA) to drive short-term and long-term business improvements.
4. Utilizes Lean and Six Sigma tools to eliminate waste driving customer satisfaction, cost reduction, and improved working capital performance.
5. Assists in improvement activities including training, mentoring, facilitating RIEs, Kaizen events, Six Sigma projects, tool deployment, benchmarking, etc.
6. Analyzes organizational metrics and performs managerial reviews to evaluate results and recommend action plans to close gaps at an operational level.
7. Coordinates and assists with corporate initiatives, participating on teams to drive best practices across Eaton Corp
8. Manages plant cost-out activities.
9. Drives complete employee engagement and enhancement of problem-solving knowledge at all levels.
10. Member of the plant leadership team in the advancement of the organization in the Eaton Business Excellence.
11. Build Organizational Capability by hiring and developing CI leaders, participates in annual development plans and provides input on organization capability/succession planning sessions
12. Identifies “Best in Class” manufacturing best practices and assists in their implementation throughout the Group.

Qualifications

Basic qualifications:

Preferred education level:

Bachelor’s Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electrical or Mechanical, from an accredited institution required.

Years and area of experience required:

5 years of experience within a manufacturing setting, 5 years of experience with Lean and Six Sigma, Minimum 5 years of experience in continuous improvement manufacturing operations is required,Demonstrated experience in Lean and Six Sigma manufacturing methodology, techniques, and roadmaps. Understanding of PROLaunch or other phase gate project management tools. Demonstrated proficiency in various software applications like MS Office suite, Minitab, Sharepoint.

Proven and strong knowledge in IATF16949, Analytical / Statistical Tools & Methods, External Requirements, Product / Process Quality Planning, Lean Manufacturing Concepts, Six Sigma.

Analitycal and Statistical software applications.

Use data analysis software (i.e. Excel, Access & Minitab) in root cause analysis efforts, including 8D analysis.

Teamwork, assertive communication, accountable, organized, self-directed and proactive.

High level of interpersonal skill to work effectively with others.

Strong English and Spanish communication skills.
