OF THE JOB:
The C&I/CRE Supervisor is responsible for the efficient and effective daily operations of the C&I/CRE Loan Servicing team, ensuring that daily tasks are completed in their entirety and all internal and external customer calls are handled promptly and correctly. The supervisor ensures that business workflows are continually adjusted to meet new processes and continued growth in volume. Ensures that all team members remain cross trained within the department and are attending appropriate in house and outsourced training opportunities whenever possible.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
• Overall team responsibility for C&I/CRE Loan onboarding, modifications, and continued Servicing of C&I and CRE Line of Business portfolios.
• Performs training and oversight of staff in New Loan boarding to the core system after a thorough review of all new loan documents, payment processing, advances, participation transactions, construction payments and advances, scanning, indexing, payoff letters, releases, billing, filing, general ledger and deposit account reconciliations.
• Supports the AVP of Small Business, C&I, CRE in the processing of more complex file maintenance transactions including overrides and loan modifications as needed.
• Manages a team by developing, motivating, and evaluating each team member to ensure effective and efficient delivery of service to internal and external customers.
• Creates and delegates department teamwork assignments. Adjusts workflows as needed for any staffing issues and communicates these to the C&I/CRE/SB Manager.
• Conducts one on one meetings with the team at least monthly for continued employee development and goal setting, and as needed when any issues or concerns arise.
• Process team performance reviews working with the C&I/CRE/SB Manager to set individual goals and IDP’s.
Secondary Functions:
• Acts as the AVP – C&I/CRE/SB Manager in her absence to include attending meetings as needed and reviewing legal items received for the C&I/CRE Lines of Business.
• Assists with any audits to provide requested documentation in a timely manner.
• Assist with matrix reporting for all daily work done in the department.
• Prepares monthly reports specific to the business line as needed in a timely and accurate manner.
• Maintains accurate records of all payments, advances and file maintenance transactions following the Bank’s policies and procedures.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:
• BS Degree in Computer Science, Business, Finance, or related field
Understanding of Loan Operations at a level of at least 3 - 5 years of related Loan Operations and/or banking supervisory experience.
• Demonstrated proficiency in well written customer communications and employee’s evaluations.
• Exceptional customer service skills.
• Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Imaging systems.
• Ability to demonstrate a team approach to execute on goals for the department.
