Job Description

Senior Director, Bancassurance is accountable to develop, implement, and manage the company's bancassurance strategy to increase insurance sales through the bank's network.

This includes partnering with various banking channels to sell insurance products, managing relationships with banking partners, and overseeing the bancassurance team. The role focuses on growing the insurance business, enhancing product offerings, ensuring legal and regulatory compliance, and improving customer experience and satisfaction.

1. Manage the team to perform new business partners hunting with key focus on bancassurance:

• Be responsible to build and develop potential partner pipeline, leveraging all relationships from top to different levels.
• Be able to build comprehensive value propositions by tailor-making partners’ requirements
• Prioritize opportunities and apply appropriate resources/support/collaboration to get relevant processes done
• Engage with partners and other stakeholders in the industry to maintain relationship and extend your network
• Manage effectively relationship with existing and new partners and all stakeholders
• Actively engage and support all Partnership Distribution (PD) channels as a senior member of PD management

1. Manage the team to perform all regular and specific researches:

• Conducts Insurance Industry Analysis with focus on bancassurance, especially focus on new opportunities for above-mentioned sales channels
• Explore and evaluate new markets and opportunities, trends and technologies to support business case investigations;
• Proactively develop market knowledge by tracking industry developments, making recommendations
• Be responsible of providing reports on relevant topics from the life insurance industry and business acquisition

1. Lead the entire process and execution for onboarding new banca partners:

• Coordinate with partner to provide needed information
• Provide and collect documents from partners and follow up with the current onboarding process
• Drafting, signing off and issuing procedures.
• Keep and store all related documents and paperwork
• Work closely with Channel Heads during the implementation of new partners to ensure all targets set from the beginning are met

• Minimum 7-10 years of intensive experience in life insurance with specific scope on business development, sales management and market research
• Excellent process and project management skill
• Experience working in an agile with cross-functional teams and senior levels
• Take ownership of your work and continuously strive for improvement

• Excellent in communication, presentation skill
• Proficiency in English and Vietnamese
