Contract Type: Temporary Casual (3-Month Contract: Early November 2026 - End of January 2027)

Availability Required: Full availability across the peak holiday season, including weekends, peak trading periods, and flexibility to pick up extra shifts throughout the week

What You’ll Be Doing

As a Christmas Casual / Optical Assistant, you’ll be at the heart of the store experience during our busiest time of the year. You will:

• Deliver Standout Experiences: Guide customers through their eyecare journey, offering expert styling advice, frame recommendations, and tailored vision solutions.
• Support Eyecare Needs: Assist customers with their optical requirements and ensure every visit is warm, engaging, and unforgettable.
• Drive Store Results: Bring high positivity and energy to a fast-paced retail environment, keeping the floor dynamic and operational standards high.
• Collaborate & Adapt: Build great relationships with fellow Optical Assistants, Store Leaders, and Optometrists to keep peak trading running smoothly.

What We’re Looking For

• Seasonal Commitment & Availability: Full availability from the beginning of November 2026 through the end of January 2027, with the flexibility to work weekends, key trading periods, and extra weekday shifts as needed.
• Customer-First Mindset: Previous customer service experience in retail, hospitality, or a fast-paced environment where customer satisfaction comes first.
• Passion & Energy: You bring positivity, enthusiasm, and a can-do attitude to the team every day.
• Problem-Solving Skills: You love helping people find the right solutions and using critical thinking to resolve customer needs.
• Time Management & Reliability: Strong organizational skills to manage daily operational tasks without ever compromising the customer experience.
• Team Player: A knack for building strong rapport with teammates, store managers, and optometrists.
