Job Location North Campus - Prosper, TX 75078 Position Type Part-Time Education Level High School

Participates in classroom activities that promote growth and learning through various activities for children aged 8 weeks to 5 years.

Responsibilities:

• Attend planning sessions and carry out classroom responsibilities
• Take on at least one specific activity for every day to support the weekly unit coordinated by the Classroom Director
• Apply appropriate teaching methods based on age-group of children
• Promote the overall education philosophy of the program
• Other duties as assigned

Qualifications

Requirements:

• Growing relationship with Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior as an active member of a Bible believing and preaching church
• High school diploma
• Passionate about preschool education and able to articulate the Gospel message in an age-appropriate manner
• Experience in education/preschool setting very helpful
• Great communication skills with children and adults
• Able to perform physical activities that require moving one's whole body, such as in climbing, lifting, balancing, walking, stooping, where the activities often also require considerable use of the arms and legs, and able to lift up to 30 pounds without assistance
