At Marymead CatholicCare, our CHOICES & Aged Care Services team is committed to empowering people to live fulfilling, independent lives. We support people with disability, older persons, and young people with trauma backgrounds through flexible, person-centred services tailored to individual goals and aspirations. The CHOICES & Aged Care Services are a passionate and supportive team with the shared purpose of delivering services that will improve the lives of those we support. We are now seeking Cleaners to join our growing team across part-time or casual opportunities.

The Role:

The CHOICES Cleaner role will offer the successful applicants the opportunity to deliver a valuable service to people who are ageing and/or living with a disability. Our clients are living in their own homes and/or with family.

Responsibilities:

The types of support you would be providing include, but are not limited to:

  • General house cleaning - essential light cleaning including mopping, vacuuming, washing dishes, cleaning bathrooms and toilets etc.
  • Laundry services - wash, dry and iron items - change bed sheets and wash those removed.
  • You are required to use your own vehicle to travel between shifts or with clients, therefore, comprehensive car insurance is required. Shifts may vary in length from 1 hour to 3 hours.

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.

We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.

With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.

We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
