Job Description

Minimum qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • 4 years of experience in DevOps, infrastructure engineering, or a related role in VLSI industry.
  • Experience with version control systems, particularly code hosting platform repositories and associated branching/merging strategies.
  • Experience with infrastructure automation tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible, Chef, Puppet) and managing cloud environments (GCP).
  • Experience in designing, implementing, and managing robust CI/CD pipelines (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI, Spinnaker).
  • Experience in scripting and programming languages such as Python or C++ and Bash.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Master's degree or PhD in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering or Computer Science, or a related field.
  • Experience in advanced technology nodes.

In this role, you will be part of a team developing ASICs used to accelerate and improve traffic efficiency in data centers. You will collaborate with members of architecture, verification, power and performance, physical design, etc. to specify and deliver high quality designs for next generation data center accelerators. You'll solve technical problems with innovative micro-architecture and practical logic solutions, and evaluate design options with complexity, performance, power and area in mind.

Responsibilities

  • Execute roadmap for CI/CD pipelines, repo configuration management, EDA tool license management and infrastructure automation across the VLSI design lifecycle.
  • Optimize large-scale distributed infrastructure, including compute farms, storage solutions, and network architecture, ensuring high availability and performance for complex chip design workloads.
  • Oversee the administration and optimization of critical infrastructure services, including version control systems (e.g. Perforce), build systems, and database management for design data.
  • Drive the adoption and implementation of modern DevOps tools and practices, focusing on infrastructure-as-code (IaC) principles.
  • Collaborate closely with CAD, Design, and software engineering teams to understand infrastructure needs and deliver tailored, efficient solutions.
