Job Role

The Sales Director – Cambodia is a senior commercial leadership position responsible for driving market expansion, sales growth, and strategic account development across Cambodia's garment manufacturing industry. Acting as the primary revenue leader within the country operation, the role focuses heavily on expanding factory-based sales channels, developing key customer relationships, and securing direct product designation opportunities with international apparel supply chains.

This role requires a highly strategic and execution-driven commercial leader with strong garment industry networks, deep factory ecosystem understanding, and proven experience leading regional B2B sales teams. The successful candidate will oversee channel expansion, competitor analysis, customer acquisition, and team development while strengthening the company's commercial positioning throughout Cambodia's manufacturing corridors.

Key Responsibilities


  • Develop and execute aggressive sales expansion strategies across Cambodia's garment and textile manufacturing industry.

  • Build and strengthen relationships with garment factories, sourcing offices, buying houses, apparel exporters, and manufacturing decision-makers.

  • Conduct strategic competitor analysis and identify opportunities to secure new brand designation projects.

  • Drive customer acquisition initiatives through direct factory engagement, sales visits, and relationship management activities.

  • Lead and monitor regional sales performance, pipeline tracking, and commercial growth initiatives.

  • Manage and mentor local sales teams while implementing structured KPI and CRM reporting systems.

  • Identify high-potential accounts and optimize channel resource allocation to maximize regional revenue growth.

  • Coordinate closely with production and operational teams to ensure smooth order execution and customer satisfaction.

  • Prepare strategic sales reports, market intelligence updates, and commercial forecasting for regional headquarters.

  • Represent the organization during business meetings, trade activities, factory visits, and industry networking events.

Requirements


  • Minimum Bachelor's Degree from a recognized institution.

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales management experience within garment accessories, apparel trims, luggage components, textile manufacturing, or related industrial sectors.

  • At least 2 years of leadership experience in Sales Director, Senior Sales Manager, or equivalent regional commercial management roles.

  • Strong existing network within Cambodia's garment manufacturing and textile factory ecosystem.

  • Proven experience managing field sales operations and leading multi-person commercial teams.

  • Strong understanding of apparel manufacturing workflows, sourcing operations, and garment supply chain structures.

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and reporting systems.

  • Experience using CRM systems and structured sales pipeline management processes.

  • Strong negotiation, communication, public relations, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Valid driving license and willingness to travel extensively for client visits and regional business development activities.

  • Professional fluency in English and Mandarin Chinese is mandatory.

  • Cambodian nationality or valid long-term working rights in Cambodia.
