We are looking for a Chinese Restaurant Manager to join our team at Holiday Inn Resort Bintan.

As Chinese Restaurant Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our Chinese restaurant, ensuring exceptional dining experiences while achieving service, quality, and financial objectives. This role requires strong leadership, in-depth knowledge of Chinese cuisine and dining culture, and the ability to communicate effectively in Mandarin to engage with guests and stakeholders.

You will lead and develop the restaurant team, maintain high standards of food quality and service, ensure compliance with IHG brand standards, and collaborate closely with Culinary and Operations teams to drive revenue, control costs, and enhance guest satisfaction.

Your Day-to-Day

• Oversee daily Chinese restaurant operations, ensuring smooth service delivery and exceptional guest experiences.
• Lead, train, motivate, and develop the restaurant team to achieve operational and service excellence.
• Maintain high standards of food quality, presentation, service, cleanliness, and hygiene.
• Ensure consistent compliance with IHG brand standards, food safety regulations, and operational procedures.
• Manage restaurant revenue, cost control, inventory, and staffing to achieve financial targets.
• Handle guest feedback and resolve complaints professionally to maintain high guest satisfaction.
• Work closely with the Culinary team to develop menus, promotions, and dining experiences that appeal to target markets.
• Build strong relationships with guests, business partners, and key stakeholders to support business growth.
• Monitor guest preferences, market trends, and competitor activities to identify opportunities for improvement.

What We Need From You

• Proven experience as a Chinese Restaurant Manager or in a similar restaurant management role, preferably within a hotel or resort.
• Strong knowledge of Chinese cuisine, dining traditions, restaurant operations, and service standards.
• Proficiency in Mandarin is highly desirable to communicate effectively with Chinese-speaking guests and business partners.
• Excellent leadership, communication, interpersonal, and team management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness, with experience in revenue generation, cost control, and inventory management.
• A passion for hospitality and delivering memorable dining experiences.
• A proactive, guest-focused, and results-driven mindset, with the ability to work collaboratively across departments.
