About the Role

Abbott is seeking a highly motivated and entrepreneurial Business Manager, Digital Health Solutions (DHS) to accelerate growth and expand Abbott's presence in the rapidly evolving healthcare digital solutions market in China. This role is responsible for identifying, developing, and converting new business opportunities outside of Abbott's traditional Core Laboratory customer base, establishing strategic relationships with new healthcare stakeholders, channel partners, and digital solution providers.

The successful candidate will combine strong commercial leadership with a strategic mindset, utilizing consultative selling skills to unlock new markets, develop distribution partnerships, and drive adoption of Abbott's digital health solutions across healthcare systems, laboratories, hospitals, and other emerging customer segments.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute a growth strategy to expand Abbott's Digital Health Solutions business across China.
• Identify and penetrate new customer segments beyond Abbott's established Core Laboratory customer base.
• Build a robust pipeline of new business opportunities through direct customer engagement, market analysis, and partner development.
• Establish and manage relationships with distributors, channel partners, and key stakeholders to drive sustainable revenue growth.
• Define and communicate sales objectives, business priorities, and market strategies to distribution partners.
• Analyze market trends, competitive activity, customer needs, and emerging technologies to identify growth opportunities and inform business strategy.
• Develop commercial plans and forecasts that support achievement of short- and long-term revenue objectives.
• Monitor business performance through metrics and analytics, implementing actions to optimize sales effectiveness and profitability.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop customer solutions, support tender opportunities, and execute strategic initiatives.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with healthcare leaders, decision makers, key opinion leaders, and industry influencers.
• Deliver training and enablement programs to channel partners to enhance sales capabilities and customer engagement.
• Serve as a trusted advisor and advocate for customers while ensuring a high standard of service and responsiveness.
• Maintain compliance with all Abbott quality, regulatory, and ethical standards.

Required Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Life Sciences, Healthcare Administration, or related field.
• 5+ years of progressive experience in healthcare, medical technology, diagnostics, digital health, or health IT sales.
• Demonstrated success developing new business and opening new markets.
• Experience managing distributors, channel partners, or indirect sales models.
• Strong strategic planning, negotiation, and influencing skills.
• Proven ability to engage senior healthcare stakeholders and drive complex sales opportunities.
• Financial acumen with experience developing forecasts, business plans, and performance analyses.
• Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
• Ability to work effectively across multiple functions and in a dynamic business environment.

Preferred Experience

• Experience selling healthcare digital solutions, informatics platforms, clinical software, connected diagnostics, or healthcare technology solutions.
• Knowledge of the Chinese healthcare market, hospital systems, and digital health ecosystem.
• Experience working with multinational healthcare or medical technology organizations.
