Job Title: Chiller Commissioning Engineer

We are seeking a seasoned Chiller Commissioning Engineer with deep expertise in commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting large-scale HVAC systems, particularly York chillers. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with screw, centrifugal, and magnetic bearing chillers, and a strong understanding of control systems, energy efficiency, and mechanical performance.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and execute commissioning activities for York chillers (Screw, Centrifugal, Magnetic) at client sites.
Perform functional testing, performance validation, and system optimization.
Review and interpret engineering drawings, control schematics, and technical documentation.
Collaborate with design, installation, and project management teams to ensure seamless handover.
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, and control issues during startup and commissioning.
Ensure compliance with safety standards, manufacturer specifications, and client requirements.
Provide technical training and guidance to client personnel and junior engineers.
Document commissioning procedures, test results, and final reports.
🧠 Required Skills & Qualifications
Diploma/bachelor’s degree in mechanical/electrical engineering or related field.
10–15 years of experience in HVAC commissioning, with a focus on chillers.
Proven expertise in York chillers, especially Screw, Centrifugal, and Magnetic bearing types.
Strong understanding of HVAC control systems (e.g., BMS, PLCs).
Familiarity with ASHRAE standards and energy efficiency practices.
Excellent troubleshooting and analytical skills.
Strong communication and client-facing abilities.
Willingness to travel to project sites as required.
