We are currently seeking a dedicated Chilled Production Manager for a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, working from 05:30 to 18:00 and 10:30 to 23:00.

In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for overseeing our chilled production operations, ensuring that they run smoothly and efficiently while maintaining the highest quality standards. You will manage a dedicated team, implement best practices, and drive continuous improvement to contribute to the ongoing success of Albert Bartlett. Working Hours

4 on 4 off shift pattern, 05:30 to 18:00 and 10:30 to 23:00.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the day-to-day operations of the chilled production facility to ensure efficient production and product quality.
• Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and implement best practices to maintain a safe work environment.
• Develop and manage production schedules to meet demand while minimizing waste and optimizing workforce utilization.
• Lead, mentor, and develop the production team to cultivate a high-performance culture and achieve production goals.
• Analyse production metrics to identify areas for improvement and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
• Collaborate with quality assurance to uphold the highest standards of product quality and consistency.
• Work closely with maintenance teams to coordinate equipment repairs and minimize downtime.

Requirements

• Significant experience in a production management role within the food manufacturing industry, particularly in chilled products.
• Strong understanding of food safety standards, quality control procedures, and production optimization.
• Proven leadership skills with the ability to effectively manage and develop a diverse team.
• Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a data-driven mindset.
• Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, for engaging with all levels of staff and management.
• Ability to work flexible hours on a 4 on 4 off shift pattern, including weekends and some holidays.
• Strong commitment to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
