About the Role
At Soccer Shots Northwest Louisiana, we're looking for energetic, dependable, and enthusiastic individuals to join our coaching team in the Natchitoches area! As a Soccer Shots Coach, you'll introduce children ages 2–8 to soccer in a fun, engaging, and encouraging environment while helping them build confidence, character, and a love for being active.
Every session is designed to be the highlight of a child's week. We provide the curriculum, training, equipment, and support—you bring the energy, positivity, and passion for making a difference.
Responsibilities
- Lead fun, engaging Soccer Shots sessions using our nationally recognized curriculum.
- Create a safe, positive, and encouraging environment where every child can succeed.
- Teach age-appropriate soccer skills while emphasizing teamwork, confidence, respect, and character.
- Manage groups of young children with enthusiasm, patience, and professionalism.
- Build positive relationships with teachers, parents, and caregivers.
- Arrive prepared, set up and pack up equipment, and represent Soccer Shots with professionalism.
- Follow Soccer Shots standards and help create an exceptional experience for every family.
Requirements
- Enjoy working with young children and have a positive, energetic attitude.
- Experience working with children through coaching, teaching, childcare, camps, or similar roles preferred.
- Basic soccer knowledge; playing or coaching experience is helpful but not required.
- Strong communication and leadership skills.
- Reliable transportation to travel to local program locations.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- CPR/First Aid certification is a plus.
