About the Role:
Soccer Shots - TXLA is looking for an energetic and passionate Children's Soccer Coach to inspire the next generation of players in Humble, TX! This is a fantastic opportunity to combine your love of soccer with the joy of working with kids in a fun, high-energy environment. Responsibilities:
- Lead engaging, age-appropriate soccer coaching sessions for young children
- Teach fundamental soccer skills including dribbling, passing, and teamwork
- Create a safe, positive, and encouraging environment for all participants
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians regarding player progress
- Set up and break down equipment before and after each session
- Follow Soccer Shots curriculum and program guidelines consistently
- Serve as a positive role model promoting sportsmanship and character development
Requirements:
- Experience working with young children in a coaching, teaching, or childcare setting
- Basic soccer knowledge and a passion for the sport
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Energetic, patient, and enthusiastic demeanor with kids
- Reliable transportation to travel to program locations in the Humble, TX area
- Ability to pass a background check
- CPR/First Aid certification preferred or willingness to obtain
