Job Description

Job Title: Children's Registered Manager
Location: Stockport
Pay Rate: £48,000 per annum with a potential to earn up to £55,800 through Ofsted and Occupancy bonuses.

About the Role:

Liquid Personnel is recruiting for an experienced Registered Manager for a 5-bed EBD children's home of mixed genders based in Stockport.

What will your responsibilities be?

  • Inspire and lead a strong, motivated team that delivers outstanding care.
  • Champion therapeutic care, overseeing tailored interventions to support emotional and developmental growth.
  • Ensure operational excellence by leading the home to outstanding Ofsted ratings while maintaining high compliance and care standards.
  • Make a lasting impact by providing a safe, nurturing space where children can heal, grow, and thrive.

  • Due to a large senior management team, on call duties are shared equally so an RM will only have to do 1 out of 7 days on call.
  • Weekly best practice meetings with the Responsible Individual and Area Manager
  • Registered Managers with this organisation are not required to assist with Rota's, recruitment, petty cash, monthly compliance and auditing, arranging training, any grievances or other HR related issues, IT and anything systems related

Qualifications & Experience:

To be successful in this role you must have,

  • A Level 5 qualification in Children, Young People, and Family Practitioner (or working towards it).
  • At least two years of experience in a Residential children’s home, with a minimum of 12 months in a leadership role.
  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate, guide, and inspire a dedicated care team.
