Kickboxing Instructor

Berkshire/Buckinghamshire/Hertfordshire region (planned start date September 2026)

£30,000 starting salary (after initial training period)

Please note - interviews will take place online and in-person in Berkshire/Buckinghamshire

This is a genuinely incredible opportunity for someone who has experience teaching (sports or martial arts preferably) children and is seeking a new lease of life!

Martial arts experience is not essential. If you can teach and have experience working with children and/or in school, they'll teach you the martial arts!

Our client is an established and forward thinking kickboxing organisation who are passionate about physical activity and getting children active. They deliver martial arts focused programmes in primary schools and in community venues and are looking for instructors who share their passion of supporting children's holistic development through kickboxing and physical activity.

Training and ongoing support will be provided by industry experts - and they offer flexible working hours, increased salary potential, and an opportunity to own a part of their business in the future.

How this works:

Prior to starting in a full-time/permanent position, you will be trained in their martial arts teaching methods through afternoon, evening and weekend sessions while you work your current role, receiving £500 per month during training to cover your time and commitment. This lets you experience the role and show you can deliver to their standards before fully committing. Once you complete training and you're successful, you will start full-time teaching.

What you need to have:

• Proven experience teaching or leading children's groups (teaching, coaching, youth work)

• Passion for child development and helping each student to be the best they can be

• Be a great communicator and build relationships with all stakeholders

• Natural authority and classroom presence to support all ages

• Energy for active, physical teaching

• Clean driving licence and access to your own vehicle

• Passion for fitness, sport, and a healthy, physical lifestyle

• Availability for evening and weekend training sessions across Berkshire and Buckinghamshire

What they provide:

• Full martial arts training to our teaching standard (£500 per month salary during training period)

You will be required to deliver a bespoke kickboxing programme to children and young people, complete administration tasks, and be willing to contribute to the growth of the organisation.
