Job Location: DALLAS, TX 75201The Children, Youth and Family Program is looking for a childcare provider who is an experienced worker and is able to work part time evenings and weekends. To be a successful childcare provider, you should enjoy being around children and feel comfortable juggling multiple behavior challenges. The person must also exhibit a strong belief and commitment to FPC’s mission and vision throughout all interactions.

- - Understanding Developmental Stages: In-depth knowledge of the physical, emotional, cognitive, and social development of children at various ages (infants, toddlers, preschoolers, and school-age children).

- - Effective Communication with Children: Ability to engage with children using clear, age-appropriate language, providing instructions, feedback, and emotional support.

QualificationsDuties/
Qualifications:
- Experience working with children aged 0 to 8 needed.
- Must monitor and interact with children and help provide a safe and fun environment.
- Responsible for helping babies with basic needs including feeding and changing if needed.
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends
- Superb multitasking abilities and sound judgement skills
- Ability to manage behavioral and developmental challenges in children using positive behavior management techniques
- Assist with distributing snack, activities and cleanup as needed
- Physical demands such as sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, crouching, and lifting up to 25 pounds may be necessary
- CPR and First Aid certifications preferred
- Candidates will be required to undergo and successfully pass a background check prior to hire
- Bilingual required
- Minimum high school diploma and 3-5 years proven experience working with children
