Childcare - Part Time Nanny

Department: Care Finder

Employment Type: Part Time

Location: Los Altos, CA

Compensation: $35.00 / hour

We’re currently looking for a Part Time Nanny in Los Altos, 94022

A lovely family near Los Altos, 94022 seeks a part time nanny for their 5-year-old for an immediate start. Care is needed on weekdays, Monday–Friday, from 2pm until 7pm. The ideal candidate is friendly, engaging, and responsible.

  • Start date: Immediate
  • Length of Position: ongoing
  • Schedule: Monday–Friday, 2pm until 7pm
  • Compensation: $35 per hour

Responsibilities

  • School pickup and then taking the child to after-school activities
  • Engaging with the child; arts & crafts, playing in the backyard, walks to the local park
  • Light meal and snack prep for child, keeping in mind the child’s peanut allergy

Requirements

  • 2 years of paid professional childcare experience
    • CPR certified, or willingness to become certified
    • Legally authorized to work in the U.S.
    • High school diploma or equivalent
    • Able to provide 2 childcare-related references from a professional setting
    • Able to successfully clear a background and social media screening
    • Valid driver’s license, clean driving record, & valid auto insurance
    • Reliable vehicle to transport one child

Compensation + Benefits

This position pays $35 per hour, and the family is looking for ~25 hours of care per week
