Childcare - Full Time Nanny

Temporary Full-Time Nanny in San Diego, CA 92131

A lovely family in Scripps Ranch is seeking a temporary full-time nanny for their 8 month old son. Care will be needed Monday through Thursday, 7:30 AM to 4:30 PM and Fridays from 7:30 AM to 11:30 AM. The ideal candidate is reliable, punctual, caring, and engaging, with a passion for childcare. Familiarity with important developmental milestones is a huge plus, as well as the ability to find creative ways to help reach them.

• Start date: Around end of May to mid-June 2026
• End date: End of August 2026
• Schedule:
  • Monday - Thursday: 7:30 AM - 4:30 PM
  • Friday: 7:30 AM - 11:30 PM
• Compensation: $25-$30 per hour

Responsibilities

• Engaging in developmentally appropriate activities to support milestones
• Bottle and light meal prep
• Maintain child's schedules, communication, and routines as set by parents
• Light housekeeping related to the child
• Baby's laundry
• Stroller walks around a hilly neighborhood; weather permitting

Requirements

• Legally authorized to work in the United States
• 2+ years of paid, professional infant care experience
• Must be able to provide at least two professional childcare references, or references that collectively cover at least two years of professional childcare experience, whichever is greater
• CPR certified or willing to become certified
• Must have valid photo ID
• Must have reliable transportation to and from position
• Must be able to successfully clear a background and social media check
• Must be comfortable with family’s friendly cat
• No smoking on the premises

Compensation + Benefits

Position pays $25-30 per hour and the family is looking for 40 hours of care per week.
