KU Riddle Road Kindergarten

Riddle Road is 33 place sessional kindergarten that runs a 3 year old group on Tuesdays and Thursdays and a 4 year old group on Mondays and Wednesdays between the hours of 8:30am and 4:00pm.

There is a large yard with lots of climbing equipment as well as a large undercover veranda. There is parking available onsite for staff and it is a short walk away from bus stops.

You will join the existing passionate team to provide education and care for children with an emphasis on building relationships and an inclusive environment where children belong, play, discover, and learn.

The Role

We are looking for someone with a completed Diploma in Early Childhood Education that is adaptable and

flexible to provide lunch cover support to the team. You will work Monday-Thursday, 11am- 1:30pm providing

you the perfect opportunity to work during school hours.

Graduate Diploma holders are welcome to apply however, responsibilities and remuneration will be in line with a Diploma qualification level.

Criteria

  • A completed ACCEQA recognised Diploma in Early Childhood,
  • Valid First Aid, CPR, Asthma and Anaphylaxis Certificates
  • Completed training in Child Protection legislation and its implications for the care and protection of children,
  • Current Working with Children Check
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011) and Victorian Early Years Learning and Development Framework (VEYLDF
