The Service

KU Greenwood is a tiny long day care in North Sydney, KU Greenwood has a open, friendly and collaborative feel that draws on the teams over 150+ years of combined experience. This stable working environment is an absolute joy to arrive at each day.

We have two playrooms and a green outdoor space amongst heritage listed fig trees. The service is on the roof of the Greenwood Plaza. With views of the harbour and fresh air. The Role

This permanent, part time position will see you working 25 hours per week as below:

  • Mondays - 11:30am-5:30pm
  • Tuesdays - 1:30pm-5:30pm
  • Wednesdays - 12:00pm-5:30pm
  • Thursdays - 1:30pm-5:30pm
  • Fridays - 12:00pm-5:30pm

We are looking for an experienced diploma qualified educator to work within a thriving team. Experience and understanding of the Responsible Person role would be highly advantageous. There will be opportunities to increase hours to act as service relief and cover leave available.

Of course, you will need:

  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Diploma level qualification
  • Current First Aid and CPR Certificates
  • Completed training in Child Protection
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
