KU Children’s Services (KU) is a leading provider of early childhood education and care in Australia. KU Avalon is a vibrant, leafy and nurturing preschool located in the picturesque Avalon. As one of the longest standing preschools on the Peninsula, we offer a warm and engaging environment for staff and children, with a focus on fostering creativity, curiosity, and a love for learning. As an Exceeding service, we provide care and education for up to 60 children, ensuring each child receives personalised attention and support.

Our beautiful setting includes spacious indoor and outdoor play areas, designed to inspire exploration and discovery. Located just a short walk from Avalon Beach, our center is perfectly situated for families in the local community.

The Role

We are looking for a ChildCare Educator with a completed Certificate III qualification who values partnering with children and families, is a team player, takes initiative and wants to join our exceeding, vibrant and leafy preschool Thursday Friday 8:30am-4:00pm

You will also have the option to access additional hours via our KUCas booking system on your non-rostered days.

Of course, you will need:

  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Certificate III
  • Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
