Job Description

The Preschool

KU Ashmont in Wagga Wagga, is a service that aims to provide the best opportunity to positively respond to the needs of the local community by providing a traditional preschool program for children aged 3-6 years and additional Early Intervention and NDIS services for its children and families.

The Role

This is a permanent full-time role at KU Ashmont for a Certificate III qualified educator, working 7.6 hours per day. On Wednesdays, the role focuses on providing dedicated support as a Support Worker. On Thursdays and Fridays, the successful applicant will work as an Assistant Core Educator, supporting the learning program and daily routines within the room.

This is a great opportunity for an educator who enjoys variety across their week while building strong, consistent relationships with children, families and the team.

Requirements:

  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA-recognised and completed Certificate III level qualification
  • Completed training in Child Protection legislation
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law and Regulations
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Framework (EYLF)
