About the Role:Join The Learning Experience #176 in Chandler, AZ as a Childcare Cook, where your culinary skills will nourish the minds and bodies of our little learners. Responsibilities:

• Prepare and cook nutritious meals and snacks for children in accordance with dietary guidelines.
• Plan weekly menus that cater to dietary restrictions and preferences.
• Maintain a clean and organized kitchen environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to incorporate food education into the curriculum.
• Monitor food inventory and order supplies as needed to ensure freshness and availability.
• Engage with children during meal times to promote healthy eating habits.
• Participate in staff meetings and training sessions to enhance culinary skills.
• Ensure compliance with local health regulations and licensing requirements.

Requirements:

• Proven experience in a kitchen environment, preferably in childcare or educational settings.
• Level one Fingerprint Clearance Card.
• Knowledge of nutrition and dietary needs for young children.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
• Strong communication skills and a friendly demeanor with children and staff.
• Food Handler's Certification or willingness to obtain one.
• Commitment to creating a positive and safe dining experience for children.
• Flexibility to adapt to changing menus and dietary requirements.
• Passion for cooking and a desire to inspire healthy eating habits in children.
• Capable of meeting physical demands of working in the kitchen.
