POSITION: PART-TIME CUSTODIAN
STATUS: Part-Time, 22.5 hours per week; Monday thru Friday, afternoons (1pm to 5:30pm)
Rate of Pay: $15.00 per hour
***MUST HAVE HIGH SCHOOL DIPLOMA or GED
*** MUST PASS LEVEL 2 BACKGROUND
*** MUST PASS DRUG SCREENING
Responsible for maintaining childcare facility in clean and orderly condition and responsible for ensuring that all equipment, grounds, and buildings are properly maintained, secured and operational by performing the following duties:
· Maintains facility in clean and orderly condition during scheduled time such as emptying trash cans, sweeping, mopping, cleaning restrooms & lunch rooms, keeping supplies stocked and changing light bulbs; disinfecting children zones with harm-free products.
· Performs routine maintenance activities such as cleaning a/c vents and gutters.
· Maintains the grounds by cleaning debris; collects trash and cardboard throughout the facility.
· Operates pressure cleaner to clean parking lots, walkways, playground, etc.
· Regular duties cover the complete childcare HS/EHS site located at Downtown Miami Center
· Notifies supervisor and other designees of need for repairs, or replacements.
· Assists supervisor as needed with other duties as assigned.
Job Type: Part-time (only 1pm to 5:30pm)
Salary: $15.00 per hour
*Able to work extra hours for special events at additional Pay

QUALIFICATIONS:
High school diploma or GED REQUIRED; supplemented by one (1) year of experience in general maintenance work, any variety of custodial, handyman, and janitorial tasks or an equivalent combination of training and experience. Experience in school setting a plus. Certificate of good health and completed TB test. Required to have fingerprint and background check and drug test.
