Child & Youth Support Worker Windsor, support Youth Complex Special Needs

Child & Youth Support Worker needed in Sandwich Town, Windsor to provide care and behavioural support for a youth with autism and complex special needs. Earn $23+ per hour, enjoy consistent weekday or weekend rotations (7 AM - 3 PM, 3 PM-11 PM, 11 PM-7 AM), must have NVCI (nonviolent, crisis, intervention training) or Safe Management Group training.

About the Role

HealthOPM is hiring a Child & Youth Support Worker to provide behavioral, emotional, and daily living support to a male youth with autism and complex needs. This is a temporary placement through our staffing agency with stable hours and the chance to make a difference.

Pay & Perks

Hourly rate: $23+ per hour, depending on experience and qualifications

Key Responsibilities

Support daily activities and provide behavioral guidance

Apply NVCI or Safe Management Group training to manage safety

De-escalate aggressive or violent behaviors

Work collaboratively with the client and HealthOPM team

Schedule

Weekday ( MonFri) or weekend ( SatSun) availability

Shifts: 7 AM -3 PM, 3 PM -11 PM, 11 PM -7 AM

Qualifications

Diploma or certification as a Child & Youth Support Worker (CYW/CYC)

NVCI or Safe Management Group training required

Prior experience supporting youth with autism and complex special needs

Skilled in behavior management and crisis response

Patient, reliable, and compassionate
