Job Duties:

  • The Child Support Services Customer Support Specialist performs general administrative duties for the Employment Services Unit in the Child Support Services Division.
  • Keys new hire data into State Directory of New Hires.
  • Performs customer service duties as liaison for the State Disbursement Unit.
  • Troubleshoots user issues for New Hire Reporting Program.
  • Performs job delivery and/or performance of appropriate customer service delivery to clients, the public, and co-workers as an integral requirement. To ensure that personal identifying information (PII) Is properly used, accessed, gathered, shared and disposed. To protect the agency networks and applications by safeguarding systems, equipment and data.
  • Performs Red Cross shelter duly or other emergency shelter duty/services as directed.
  • Performs related duties as required.

Examples of duties

A High School Diploma and one (1) year of experience in computer system support.

An Associate Degree or higher in computer science or related field of study may be substituted for required work experience.
