
The University of Chicago's Department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Neuroscience, Section of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, is searching for a full-time faculty member at any rank. The appointee will join a multidisciplinary section focusing on providing high-quality outpatient psychiatric care for children, adolescents, and their families. Other duties will include teaching and supervision of trainees and students, and scholarly activity. Academic rank and compensation (including a generous package of fringe benefits) are dependent upon qualifications.
The Section of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry offers a broad range of specialty programs, including those focused on eating disorders, trauma, psychotherapy, ADHD, health psychology, Parent-Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT), functional disorders, and neurodevelopmental disorders.
Prior to the start of employment, qualified applicants must: 1) have a medical doctorate or equivalent, 2) hold or be eligible for medical licensure in the State of Illinois, 3) be Board certified or eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry, and 4) have residency training in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry.
