We are seeking energetic teachers to join our team and work with children ages 6 weeks to 1 year old. Discovery Point uses a proprietary curriculum which includes reading, language, and art projects for our infants. Our teachers often add other activities and learning experiences during the day.

• One (1) year experience in child care is preferred.
• Completion of 45 hours of child care training is preferred but not required. Training would have to be started within 30 days of employment and completed within one year of employment.
• CDA preferred but not required

Duties include:

• Implement the proprietary curriculum
• Observe each child to help them improve their social competencies and build self-esteem
• Encourage children to interact with each other
• Guide children to develop their artistic and practical capabilities through a carefully constructed curriculum
• Track children’s progress and report to parents
• Communicate with parents regularly regarding their child

Compensation: $14.00 - $17.00 per hour
