Do you have a passion for cooking and creating delicious meals but no longer want to do the long hours required in the hospitality industry?

Maybe you are a parent returning to the workforce and looking for part-time hours with flexibility that fit within the school hours? If so, this role is for you!

We are looking for a Food Coordinator to work 60 hours per fortnight (Monday to Friday) at our Palmerston service. This is a Permanent Part Time position with no late nights or weekend work!

About the Opportunity

The Food Coordinator will provide healthy and nutritious snacks and meals for children and is also required to maintain the kitchen/dining environment in line with Health Regulations.

To succeed in this role you will need:

  • Food Handling and Hygiene certified course
  • SITSS00069 Food Safety Supervision Skill Set or willing to obtain
  • Valid Working with Children Check
  • Current First Aid Certificate
  • Knowledge of food safe requirements
  • Knowledge of special dietary considerations
  • Experience in menu planning and provision ordering
  • Ability to work well on own and within a team environment
