Job Description

Conveniently located just a 5-minute walk from Gadigal stationOur centre is truly one-of-a-kind, featuring a stunning rooftop atrium that fills the space with natural light and a beautiful ‘secret forest’ play area, where children immerse themselves in the wonders of nature. With sandpits to explore, water play, and leafy plants, our space is designed to inspire creativity, exploration, and a deep connection to the environment.

We are passionate about sustainability, striving to limit plastic usage and create an eco-conscious environment for both children and staff.

At KU Treehouse, we focus on nurturing children’s appreciation for the natural world while integrating Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander cultural perspectives as a foundation for sustainable practices and environmental respect.

The Role

We are seeking a passionate and reflective Certificate III qualified educator with to join KU The Tree House 8 hours a day Monday to Friday accruing a paid day off - every month!

Applicants should have:

  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Certificate III qualification
  • Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
