Join the team at KU Playford Park Children’s Centre, a community-focused long day care service nestled in the picturesque parklands of Padstow. Our centre provides a warm, inclusive environment for up to 43 children, ages 6 weeks to 5 years, where we prioritize individual care and foster a family-oriented, supportive atmosphere. With a strong reputation in the local community for delivering exceptional education and care, we create a space where children can thrive.

Operating Monday to Friday from 7am to 5:45pm, our service offers a wonderful work-life balance, with free onsite parking and convenient access to public transport – just a 10-minute walk from Padstow Train Station and a bus stop at the top of Davies Street.

The Role

A perfect opportunists for someone working towards their Diploma qualification or ECT questions that already holds a Certificate III. Or for someone that is looking to work half days only.

There are two permanent positions available:

  • 8:45am-11:45am on Monday and Friday on a permanent part time basis.
  • 1:15pm-5:15pm Monday to Friday on a permanent part time basis.

You will also have access to our casual pool to pick up additional hours at your choosing which will give you further flexibility around working hours that will provide you with a fantastic work life balance.

Applicants should have:

  • Australian working rights
  • A current NSW Working with Children Check
  • An ACECQA recognised Certificate III qualification
  • Completed Child Protection Training as well as demonstrated understanding of current child safe practices
  • Sound understanding of the Education and Care Services National Law (2010) and the Education and Care Services National Regulations (2011)
  • Working knowledge of the Early Years Learning Frameworks (EYLF)
