Nestled within the serene, natural forest surroundings of the University of Newcastle’s Central Coast campus, KU Ourimbah offers a unique and inspiring environment for both children and educators. Surrounded by cultivated grounds and lush greenery, our centre provides the perfect backdrop for creativity and exploration.
We are proud to offer ample free onsite parking, with convenient bus services running from Ourimbah Station directly to the campus, making commuting a breeze.
At our purpose-built facility, we provide a warm and welcoming space for up to 59 children, ages 6 weeks to 5 years old. The heart of our service is a quality play-based learning program, enriched by our Forest Preschool and daily excursions across the stunning campus. This special connection to nature allows children to thrive as they explore, discover, and grow alongside each other.
Sustainability is at the forefront of our mission – the centre is bathed in natural light, reducing the need for artificial lighting, and we embrace the beauty of wooden and natural materials throughout our spaces. Every corner is designed to foster creativity, learning, and environmental consciousness.
If you're looking to work in a dynamic, nurturing environment that values both professional growth and the well-being of its team, KU Ourimbah offers the ideal setting. Join us and be a part of a community where children's imaginations soar, and every day is a new adventure.
