As the Director at Small Hands Big Dreams, your days are filled:
-  Recruitment and retention of families and staff
- Meeting parents' needs
- Communicating with parents, staff and children
- Overseeing and inspiring excellence in curriculum
- Supporting teachers' professional development
- Using various software systems
- Creating and adjusting daily staff schedules
- Facility management
- Oversite of Program Quality

JOB DETAILS
Ideal  Director Characteristics:
- - Experience and Education: 2-3 years classroom experience as well as 1-2 years experience leading other adults and a degree in early childhood education (or related field), or Career Pathway Level 3 and or Current CDA
- - Creativity: effective problem solver; is innovative and has new ideas that helps operations
- - Customer Focus: Great daily communication, timely responsiveness, engagement and resourceful in finding answers to questions
- - Checklist Lover: Detail oriented, loves to complete tasks and is an eager problem solve
- - Organization: knows where everything is and if it does have a place will find one
- - Integrity: Professional, motivated and true to what you say you will do across all relationships with children, families, and co-workers
- - Environment: Create an atmosphere that is inviting and represents all students, families and staff
Key Success Metrics:
1) Family and Community Partnerships
Conducts family tours and collaborates with event planning
Follows up with Parent concerns and intakes
Collaborates with stakeholders
2) Business and Operations Management
Monitors budget and purchasing
Assists with building management
Internal and external billing

Small Hands Big Dreams Learning Center provides quality preschool education and childcare which in turn enhances and strengthens society. We provide all-inclusive care allowing the parents to spend more time with their child at home. Breakfast, lunch, afternoon snack, Similac Advanced formula, and Gerber baby food are all supplied through our centers. We also provide diapers and wipes.
