We're looking for a Child Care Attendant (CCA) who is passionate about working with children, brings positive energy to every interaction, and is committed to creating a safe, welcoming, and engaging environment for families.

HOW YOU WILL CHANGE LIVES

The Child Care Attendant plays a vital role in the club's KidCare program by providing safe, fun, and attentive care for children while their parents focus on their fitness

Your presence allows parents to work out with confidence, knowing their children are supported in a clean, engaging, and well-run environment. Through meaningful interactions, age-appropriate activities, and consistent safety practices, you help make VASA a place families trust and return to.

• COMPENSATION: Base rate of $11.60 per hour
• Flexible scheduling: Shifts are available within KidCare operating hours of 8:00am--12:00pm and 4:00pm--8:00pm, Monday through Saturday

WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

• Experience working with children in childcare, education, youth programs, or similar environments preferred
• Friendly, engaging, and dependable presence
• Strong communication skills and attention to detail
• Ability to follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized KidCare space
• Adaptable and calm in a fast-paced environment
• Passion for creating positive experiences for children and families

• Following all check-in/check-out procedures to ensure child safety

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

The qualifications for this position include, but are not limited to, the following:

• Experience in childcare
• Current CPR/ AED Certification
• Customer Service experience
• Bilingual preferred but not required

WORKING CONDITIONS

Primary work in a fitness facility and office setting. Temperature variations can occur. The environment includes some ambient noise such as talking and use of gym equipment and machinery

PHYSICAL AND MENTAL ACTIVITIES AND REQUIREMENTS

• Talking: Especially where one must frequently convey detailed or important instructions or ideas accurately, loudly, or quickly.
• Physical Strength: Non-Sedentary work, standing and walking most of the time. Must be able to lift, push, pull, and move a minimum of 50 pounds.
• Reasoning Ability: Ability to deal with a variety of variables under limited standardization. Able to interpret various instructions and relay instructions to clients
• Attendance is an essential duty of the position. Employees must work regularly scheduled shifts, during business hours to assist members and sell services in-person.
