The department of Psychiatry and Behavioral Health at Cook Children's Medical Center is seeking a board certified/board eligible Child & Adolescent Psychiatrist to join our team! We have a well-established, outpatient and inpatient pediatric program which provides a full range of early intervention, rehabilitation, medical, and mental health services for children. Our interdisciplinary team is comprised of thirteen (13) child & adolescent psychiatrists, child psychologists, advanced practice providers, developmental pediatricians, as well as speech, physical, and occupational therapists. The treatment philosophy of the program is Trust Based Relational Interventions (TBRI)

Enjoy a variety of clinical activities, including evaluation, ongoing treatment and follow-up, consultation, and education in a stimulating atmosphere.
Close collaboration with other disciplines.
Primary schedule is Monday-Friday 8:00 to 5:00 with a mix of onsite and remote work. Shared weeknight call (phone only).
All psychiatrists in the group share weekend inpatient rounding on a rotational basis.
Qualifications:
Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (D.O.) required
Unrestricted Texas Medical license (must obtain prior to start date)
Must have successfully completed an Accreditation Council for Graduate Medical Education (ACGME) or American Medical Association (AMA) approved residency for Psychiatry and fellowship for Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
Board certified/Board Eligible in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry
DEA Certification
American Heart Association BLS and PALS
