JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Active Connecticut Medical License or Ability to Obtain
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Psychiatry
• Active DEA
• Board Certification in Psychiatry Preferred
• Child and Adolescent Inpatient Psychiatry Experience (Preferred)
• Ability to Manage Acute Psychiatric Conditions in an Inpatient Setting
DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide Psychiatric Care to Child and Adolescent Inpatients
• Conduct Psychiatric Evaluations and Assessments
• Develop and Manage Treatment Plans
• Prescribe and Monitor Psychiatric Medications
• Collaborate with Nursing, Therapy, and Behavioral Health Staff
• Complete Timely and Accurate Clinical Documentation
• Participate in Multidisciplinary Treatment Team Meetings
