Child & Adolescent Intensive Behavioral Intervention Specialist
As an Intensive Behavioral Intervention Specialist at Waystone, you will provide support to children and adolescents with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD), and other behavioral challenges. Your work will empower families, foster community inclusion, and drive behavioral change through evidence-based strategies delivered with compassion and care.
In this role you will coach parents and caregivers — especially those new to behavioral support — by providing practical strategies for managing challenging behaviors at home and in the community. Additionally, you’ll connect families to resources, services, and support networks that strengthen their ability to thrive.
Location: Lawrence, MA.
Travel is required within the following areas for home visits: Central Middlesex, Merrimack Valley, Lowell, Northshore, Metro North & the Northshore.
Schedule: This position follows a Monday - Friday schedule with varied hours to meet the needs of the families we serve. You will be required to work two evenings per week This is not a fee-for-service role and includes dedicated time for office work and documentation.
* During the first 90 days, new team members will follow a Monday–Friday, 9:00am - 5:00pm on-site onboarding schedule. This period includes frequent training sessions, shadowing opportunities, and hands-on support to ensure a strong start.
Compensation range: This is a 40-hour non-exempt, full-time position. The pay range is $24.75 - $28.85 per hour. This position is benefit eligible as of date of hire.
