Our client is a leading banking company who is looking for a qualified candidate to join their firm.

• 
  Develop the technology capability model and architecture blueprint required to support business objectives and future growth needs.
• 
  Design and execute the software development roadmap in line with the Company’s digital transformation strategies.
• 
  Identify, assess, select, and implement technology solutions that address both current and future requirements.
• 
  Manage and optimize infrastructure assets to meet internal financial targets.
• 
  Consolidate technology platforms and develop a clear plan for each platform.
• 
  Track, analyze, and monitor technology performance indicators.
• 
  Lead technology-related discussions with relevant stakeholders to develop the customer journey roadmap and identify the products required to support it.
• 
  Serve as the primary technology expert and oversee the Company’s overall technology development and technology utilization plan.
• 
  Guide executive management, project teams, and external partners to ensure close alignment with and support for development and execution priorities.

• 
  Manage assigned IT projects using Agile Development and Scrum methodologies to improve the speed of progress and delivery of results.
• 
  Assess project resource requirements and allocate the necessary resources, while preparing business cases to obtain the required approvals.
• 
  Oversee the coordination and delivery of products across cross-functional development teams to ensure the timely delivery of products and solutions.
• 
  Monitor and evaluate product implementation and develop enhancements based on implementation results and feedback.
• 
  Define and prioritize product development activities based on evaluations and input from business teams, ensuring that products are delivered at the pace required by the market.
• 
  Engage project stakeholders and strengthen cooperation among all relevant parties.
• 
  Assess project risks and issues, establish mitigation and resolution plans, and communicate or escalate matters to the appropriate stakeholders in a timely manner.
• 
  Assume responsibility for the overall quality of project delivery before products or solutions are handed over to customers.
• 
  Support the detailed evaluation of proposed IT solutions, where involved, by applying relevant expert knowledge and extensive professional experience.
• 
  Manage project dependencies within the assigned scope of influence and communicate and coordinate with others regarding critical dependencies.

  Remain up to date with emerging trends and best practices across the technology landscape and within the banking and fintech markets.
• 
  Engage industry experts to facilitate knowledge sharing and knowledge transfer to employees of the Company.
• 
  Demonstrate initiative in thought leadership, innovation, and creativity.

• 
  Oversee workforce planning and implementation for the function, including headcount and personnel costs.
• 
  Attract, onboard, and retain suitable talent to build and maintain a high-performing team.
• 
  Establish and communicate functional and individual KRAs, KPIs, goals, action plans, expectations, and expected results to direct reports.
• 
  Manage the performance of the function and provide regular feedback in accordance with the annual performance management cycle.
• 
  Define the capability requirements of the team and support the professional and personal development of team members through capability assessments, training, coaching, feedback, mentoring, and other relevant development activities.
• 
  Motivate team members and recognize their contributions toward achieving the team’s shared objectives.
• 
  Identify and monitor the personal and professional development and career progression of talent within the function.
• 
  Act as a role model and promote the Company’s corporate culture across the function.

  Understand relevant HR programs and offerings and communicate them clearly to team members.

Requirements

• 
  A Master’s degree or higher in Engineering, Computer Science, or another closely related discipline.
• 
  At least 18 years of experience in full-stack development and technical best practices within the banking or fintech sectors.
• 
  At least 12 years of experience leading a team of developers in a controlled or simulated environment.
• 
  Extensive experience working with cloud technologies and within a DevOps environment.
• 
  Extensive experience with infrastructure deployment strategies and technologies that support efficient working practices in DevOps.
• 
  Extensive experience with different architecture models, test-driven development, and test automation.
• 
  A proven track record of leading digital transformation and change initiatives spanning multiple business units.
• 
  Strong knowledge of and extensive experience with Agile Software Development and Scrum methodologies.
