We are looking for the Chief Technology Officer (CTO) who will be responsible for overseeing the Technology & Information department, aligning technology strategies with business goals, and driving innovation to create competitive advantages through technology products and services. The CTO plays a crucial role in integrating business requirements into IT planning and operations while ensuring compliance with regulatory standards, particularly in the fintech industry.
Responsibilities
Collaborate with the CEO to align technology strategy with business objectives, driving innovation and growth.
Gather requirements and foster consensus for technology products and services, strategizing development plans with the Product Owner.
Oversee management of hardware, software, databases, and licenses, ensuring systems are updated and aligned with company needs.
Lead development and maintenance of the DeeMoney platform, including mobile applications, business portal, and operational support.
Connect with bank and non-bank entities for fund collection and disbursement, enhancing platform capabilities.
Provide leadership and direction to technology teams, coaching and training members to develop new skills and knowledge.
Collaborate with the Compliance & Risk Management team to ensure data safety, IT security, and regulatory compliance.
Conduct quarterly technology audits to assess and maintain adherence to compliance standards and best practices.
Assess potential value of new products or systems to the company, staying updated on digital trends and their business implications.
Guide strategic business decisions and allocate resources effectively, driving efficient use of technology resources.
Communicate effectively with stakeholders, presenting technology strategies and solutions to support organizational goals.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related field
10+ years of experience in technology, with at least 5 years in management roles within the fintech industry
Expertise in both technology software and hardware
Previous experience in fintech, banking, or insurance sectors preferred
Strong business acumen, including product development and planning
In-depth knowledge of big data analysis
Excellent organizational, time management, and communication skills
Proficient in presentation delivery
Additional tech certifications are a plus
