Job Description

Are you passionate about turning M&A strategy into business growth - from identifying the right opportunities to realizing long-term value? Join Grundfos and help accelerate our growth journey while contributing to our mission of solving the world's water and climate challenges.

As Chief Strategy and M&A Manager, you will own and drive the end-to-end M&A agenda as a key growth lever for the business. From shaping strategy and building a prioritized pipeline to executing transactions and ensuring value realization, you will play a central role in strengthening Grundfos' market position and future growth.

What you will be doing

As part of the Strategy & Transformation team, you will drive strategic growth through disciplined M&A investments and strong stakeholder collaboration.

Key responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute an M&A strategy aligned with business priorities, building and managing a pipeline of target opportunities.
  • Lead end-to-end M&A transactions, including sourcing, due diligence, valuation, financial modelling, negotiation, structuring, and closing.
  • Coordinate cross-functional due diligence processes and drive M&A governance, reporting, and best practices.
  • Build robust investment cases and ensure post-acquisition value realization.
  • Advise and influence senior stakeholders, leadership teams, and decision-making forums on M&A opportunities and strategic priorities.
  • Collaborate closely with Finance, Group M&A, Group Strategy, business leaders, and external advisors to ensure successful execution.

What makes you a great fit

You are a strategic and results-oriented M&A professional with strong commercial and financial acumen, proven deal experience, and the ability to influence senior stakeholders while driving transactions from opportunity to impact.

We imagine that you have:

  • Master’s degree in Engineering, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 10+ years of experience within M&A, corporate development, strategy consulting, or investment banking.
  • Proven track record leading end-to-end transactions and developing programmatic M&A approaches.
  • Strong financial modelling, valuation, analytical, and business case development skills.

It is a plus if you also have

  • Experience from a global manufacturing or industrial company.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills with experience engaging C-level leaders.
  • Experience with post-merger integration and value realization initiatives.

Why you will love working here

At Grundfos, we put people first. We offer:

  • Flexible working arrangements and home working opportunities.
  • Annual bonus, health insurance, and a strong focus on well-being.
  • Three additional paid volunteering days each year.
  • Continuous learning opportunities and structured development programmes.
  • An inclusive culture where diverse perspectives are welcomed and valued.
