Job Description
The Chief Revenue Officer (CRO) will own and drive the company’s end-to-end revenue strategy, delivering sustainable growth across all revenue-generating functions. Working closely with the leadership team, the CRO will align sales, marketing, product, supply chain, and finance to achieve revenue and profitability targets in a competitive FMCG environment.
Key Responsibilities
Revenue & Growth Strategy
Define and execute an integrated revenue strategy to drive short- and long-term growth.
Develop revenue models, identify new growth opportunities, and stay ahead of market trends.
Ensure disciplined execution to deliver consistent top-line and margin performance.
Sales Leadership
Lead and scale high-performing sales teams with clear targets and accountability.
Implement effective sales processes, systems, and incentives to drive productivity and customer retention
Build strong relationships with key customers, distributors, and strategic partners.
Sales & Marketing Alignment
Partner closely with marketing to align brand, product, and go-to-market strategies with revenue goals.
Optimize campaigns to improve lead generation, conversion, and customer retention.
Drive strong integration between sales and marketing to enhance customer engagement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
Work with product and supply chain teams to ensure offerings meet customer and market needs.
Partner with finance on forecasting, budgeting, and revenue performance management.
Collaborate with logistics and distribution to reduce cost-to-serve while achieving OTIF targets.
Data & Performance Management
Track and analyze KPIs, distributor stock levels, demand-supply data, and sell-in/sell-out trends.
Use insights to refine strategies, improve conversion, and reduce churn.
Build a performance-driven culture internally and across distributor and retail partners.
Leadership & Talent Development
Inspire, coach, and develop cross-functional teams to exceed performance targets.
Build a strong succession pipeline for future sales leaders.
Foster a customer-centric, results-oriented culture.
P&L Ownership
Own revenue and commercial budgets, ensuring efficient resource allocation.
Balance top-line growth with strong profitability and ROI discipline.
