POSITION SUMMARY
The Chief Program Officer, a critical member of the Executive Team, will support the CHS mission by helping the CEO manage the organization's day-to-day program operations, providing structure to grow CHS programs, and ensuring the quality of services offered.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Lead CHS services using strategic planning to ensure the success of the organization's program management, identify opportunities for program growth, and provide supervision to the Vice President and Associate Vice Presidents of the CHS services.
- Provide advice to the CEO and other members of the Executive Team on implementing the strategic plan.
- Maintain regular communication with the CEO, the Board of Directors, members of the Executive Team, and the Leadership Management Team related to overall program operational needs, problems, successes, and future planning trends or equipment and/or facility needs.
- Determine when independent action is appropriate and when consultation with the CEO is needed.
- Facilitate effective decision-making processes to achieve organizational goals and objectives.
- In partnership with the CEO, lead the Program Committee of the Board of Directors
- Lead and/or collaborate on other organizational projects assigned by the CEO
- Increase CHS reach across the State and evaluate program expansion/growth opportunities.
- Provide fiscal oversight to support organizational sustainability.
- Liaison with external community partners, funders, and all stakeholders.
- Provide engagement support for all program personnel.

QUALIFICATIONS
REQUIRED EDUCATION:
- Bachelor’s degree (BA or BS) in a related field from an accredited university.
REQUIRED EXPERIENCE:
- Ten years of related work experience. An equivalent combination of experience and education may be considered.
- Previous supervisory experience in a Senior leadership role
MISCELLANEOUS REQUIREMENTS:
- Must provide a valid driver’s license and proof of valid personal vehicle insurance
- Must successfully pass a background check.
