Job Description
Cynet is seeking a Chief Product & Technology Officer (CPTO) to own Product Management and Engineering as one connected system for customer and partner outcomes. This leader will align Product and Engineering around the highest-value work, compress the delivery cycle for new lines of code that create measurable customer value, and ensure the platform gets stronger with every release.
Depending on candidate profile and organizational design, the SVP Security Operations & Research / Adversary Operations function may also report into the CPTO organization.
This is a dual mandate. Beyond owning technology and product, the CPTO serves as Managing Director of Cynet’s Tel Aviv office — the most senior executive on site and a stabilizing, unifying leadership presence. Working alongside the other Israel-based leaders, the CPTO is accountable for the stability, cohesion, culture, and continuity of the office, and for making Tel Aviv a destination for top engineering, product, and security talent as Cynet scales.
Organization
- Product Management — product strategy, discovery, prioritization, roadmap, customer value, and delivery.
- Engineering — platform, endpoint, product engineering, architecture, quality, reliability, and development velocity.
- Potential Counter Adversary Operations alignment — depending on organizational design, detection IP, MDR delivery, cyber research, data science, infrastructure, and incident response may be aligned under or closely integrated with the CPTO.
What will you do
- Own Product Management and Engineering, with accountability for product strategy, technology vision, delivery execution, and customer/partner outcomes.
- Create a high-velocity product and engineering engine that compresses the path from customer need to valuable code shipped, adopted, and measured.
- Harness AI across discovery, requirements, design, development, code generation, testing, documentation, release, support, and analytics.
- Bring deep cybersecurity domain fluency, including endpoint security, endpoint management, EDR/XDR, prevention, detection, response, and MDR workflows.
- Bring PLG experience and instincts, designing product experiences that accelerate activation, adoption, expansion, self-service, and measurable value.
- Listen actively to customers, MSP partners, sales, customer success, support, CyOps, and engineering teams, then incorporate the right feedback into strategy and execution.
- Build strong operating rhythms across product, engineering, security, and business teams, ensuring clarity, accountability, culture, and talent density.
- AI-forward operator who actively uses AI, automation, and modern tooling to improve team output, decision quality, and customer outcomes.
- Roll-up-the-sleeves executive who can move from strategy to execution without ego and is comfortable solving hard problems directly with the team.
- Exceptional communicator and collaborator who creates clarity, aligns cross-functional teams, and earns trust with colleagues, customers, partners, board members, and investors as appropriate.
- Customer-, partner-, and colleague-listening leader who builds tight feedback loops and incorporates the right input into priorities, operating rhythms, and execution plans.
What Success Looks Like
- A predictable, high-quality release engine with measurable gains in velocity, stability, quality, and customer value delivered per engineering cycle.
- Product and Engineering operate as one system with clear priorities, faster decisions, better discovery, and stronger execution discipline.
- AI materially accelerates how Cynet builds and what Cynet products do for customers.
- Endpoint, cyber, MDR, and platform capabilities reinforce one another in a unified customer and partner experience.
- Product-led adoption improves activation, engagement, expansion opportunities, and customer feedback quality.
Requirements
- Senior leadership experience owning Product and Engineering at a high-growth B2B SaaS, cybersecurity, endpoint, endpoint management, or security-platform company.
- Cybersecurity depth, especially endpoint security, endpoint management, EDR/XDR, detection and response, MDR, SOC workflows, threat research, or adjacent areas.
- Experience building and scaling PLG motions or product experiences that drive adoption, activation, usage, expansion, and customer value.
- Track record increasing engineering velocity without compromising quality, reliability, security, or customer trust.
- Strong current understanding of AI-enabled development and AI-native product strategy.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience scaling a cybersecurity product organization through the growth stage.
- Experience with MSP, SMB, channel-led, or partner-centric go-to-market models.
- Based in Tel Aviv, Israel or Tampa, Florida.
